With a background that encompasses SEO content writing, copy strategy, and a deep passion for storytelling, Jimmy Leonard brings a wealth of expertise to his new role as Account Strategist at Baker Marketing Laboratory. In his role at Baker, Jimmy will work with clients by defining, implementing, and managing creative marketing strategies designed to align our key capabilities with their biggest goals. He is the most passionate about helping business leaders tell their stories and reach new audiences.
Previously, Jimmy led a team of SEO copywriters as a senior copy strategist at a digital marketing agency. He was responsible for copy production and editing, staying up to date on SEO best practices, and optimizing web content for lead generation. He’s fully prepared to provide strategic direction to our clients at Baker and lead them to search engine success.
Prior to entering the digital marketing field, Jimmy spent a decade as an English teacher and curriculum writer, so he brings diverse industry experience to the table. His time in education has equipped him with exceptional communication skills, a deep understanding of storytelling, and a unique perspective for approaching marketing challenges. He particularly enjoys the creativity and problem-solving that digital marketing requires.
Outside of work, Jimmy is an avid distance runner and hiker. He enjoys spending quality time outdoors, and he is the happiest when going on adventures with his kids—especially those that involve the zoo. As a proud dad, Jimmy’s kids are his greatest accomplishment.
